My First DIY Flight Simulator Pedals

My first home made flight simulator pedals created in 2006 were made of wood and used a gameport interface. The pedals turned a gear wheel from a old VCR. There was a second, smaller VCR gear wheel that turned a potentiometer. The cable was from an old CH Flightstick of mine. Two springs visible at the back helped centre the rudder pedals. The were two switches behind the toes providing two toe buttons.

My second attempt at pedals was more successful - Recession Pedals as the pedals had differential braking and worked better including having a longer cable.
